Peter is Managing Director of IC Select working with UK pension funds to evaluate and monitor their investment consultants and fiduciary managers. Prior to this, he was Head of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership’s institutional sales and client management team. This followed his return from overseas where, as Chief Executive Officer, Peter established and successfully led an asset management business in one of the most challenging of jurisdictions and market conditions. Peter currently chairs the independent Streering Group of the Fiduciary Management Performance Standard and is the independent Chair of the Royal London Independent Governance Committee.

He has broad experience across a wide range of disciplines including: all aspects of the ‘marketing mix’; distribution and client management; asset management operations; regulatory and operational risk and governance; and, corporate actions, including fund and corporate merger integration and liquidation. An experienced C-Level operator, he brings strategic flair, tactical know how, and leadership expertise to ensure the delivery of sustainable business results for his clients.

Peter has over 30 years experience in the retail and institutional Financial Services industry in the UK and overseas. He has been described as a highly motivated and inspiring leader, who combines the values of the business and his teams, with personal integrity and commitment. His drive, focus and experience across business disciplines, together with his extensive market, distribution and product knowledge, enable him to deliver consistently and successfully against client and business expectations.
