Anna Bradley

Age UK
Member of the Trustee Board

Anna has been a Trustee of Age UK since February 2017 and brings a consumer or user mind-set to Board conversations.

She is a longstanding advocate of consumers and users of service, having started her working life at Which? and subsequently been CEO of the National Consumer Council. She has since Chaired a number of consumer organisations including in telecoms, water, and pensions, and was the founding Chairman of Healthwatch England.

She has wide experience of regulation; she was the Consumer Director at the Financial Services Authority and has subsequently worked closely with regulators in water, rail and telecoms. She has also chaired professional regulators in legal and health services and was a Board member at the Care Quality Commission.

This experience of working across service areas means Anna brings expertise on several of the issues that especially affect older people, particularly in health and social care.
