Patrick O’Hara

Patrick joined LGPS Central at the beginning of 2021 to lead the Responsible Investment and Engagement Team. The team works across LGPS Central and its Partner Funds to provide support and leadership on all matters relating to ESG integration and Stewardship.
Patrick joined from USS Investment Management where he was responsible for ESG integration and Stewardship in Public Markets, he worked closely with the internal equities team on the integration of ESG considerations into investment processes and managed fund-wide carbon footprinting and scenario analysis projects. Prior to this he fulfilled a similar role in the Global Responsible Investment team at Aviva Investors where he worked on ESG risk reporting.
Patrick has a background in Risk and Compliance and earlier in his career he worked for the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange. He has an MSc in Sustainable Development from Surrey University.
