David is head of LGPS investment at Barnett Waddingham, leading the specialist team and integrating investment advice with the firm’s wider LGPS services across actuarial and governance – currently supporting around a quarter of LGPS funds. He has over 20 years’ experience advising pension funds of all sizes, including on investment governance for large schemes. A strong advocate of sustainable investment, David helped establish BW’s sustainable investment team. David is known for his energy in building and developing teams, and is a passionate supporter of BW’s client-focused culture. Significant experience includes investment governance, funding plan development, growth strategy design, sustainable investment integration, manager selection and review, and assetliability modelling.
